After a multi-stage agency review, Dairy Farmers of Ontario (DFO) has selected McCann Health to lead the development of new community health initiatives. McCann Health will support DFO’s Community Marketing group, working directly with frontline medical professionals and public-health influencers.
“The current narratives shaping beliefs and behaviours around dairy are complex,” said Neill Brown, Managing Director of McCann Health Canada. “The discourse is being shaped by conjecture more than credible science, so there’s a huge opportunity to set the record straight and help people rediscover the benefits of dairy.”
The assignment will enable McCann Health to develop fact-based advocacy initiatives in an effort to dispel myths and misinformation, supporting dairy’s role in nutrition and the long-term health of Ontarians.
“We are thrilled to have McCann Health join our roster of agency partners,” says Sean Bredt, Chief Marketing Officer at DFO. “McCann Health will be instrumental in helping us shape our medical strategy and approach to the complex and ever-evolving healthcare community. Their experience and expertise will help us navigate this space and further educate the healthcare community on what dairy can really do.”
