TORONTO, Canada, March 25, 2019 — MRM//McCann, a leading global customer relationship agency, announced today that it has named Jenn Steinmann as President of MRM//McCann Canada. In her new role, she will be responsible for overseeing all of MRM//McCann’s Canadian operations.
Steinmann, a seasoned business leader with over two decades of Canadian and international marketing experience, joins MRM//McCann from Cundari, a Canadian-based agency where she has been President since 2015.
Kate MacNevin, MRM//McCann Global Chief Executive Officer, said, “We are absolutely committed to growing our business in the extremely dynamic and important Canadian market, and I have no doubt that Jenn is the right person to lead that charge. Over her career, she has proven to be extraordinarily creative, agile and decisive — qualities that make her the perfect fit to drive our momentum as we continue to expand our footprint here.”
Steinmann first joined Cundari in 2009 as VP, Director of Client Services. During her decade there, she helped drive the agency’s long-term strategic direction while strengthening their offerings with customer-centric, data-driven methodologies, and rose to become EVP, Managing Director in 2013 before being promoted to President in 2015. She has previously worked at McCann, both in Toronto as an Account Director early in her career, and as Client Services Director in Germany. She moved back to Canada in 2007 as a VP, Group Director at Saatchi, before joining Cundari two years later. She has supported teams to earn numerous industry recognitions, including multiple Cannes Gold Lions, CASSIES and Effie Awards, and rankings on both WARC and Gunn Reports.
Simon Sikorski, CEO of McCann Worldgroup Canada, said, “Jenn has been a remarkable innovator and business leader throughout her career. Her demonstrated strengths in building business both in individual offices and across a network fits well with our new structure in Canada, where we want MRM//McCann to accelerate its growth both through its Canadian and global network resources.”
Steinmann replaces outgoing President George Panopoulos, who recently announced his departure. Said Kate MacNevin, “I’d like to thank George for his years of commitment and dedication to MRM//McCann and wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors.
